 Entry Fees and Deadline Information MACRA Regatta
THE ENTRY DEADLINE IS MONDAY APRIL 21, 2008 Eligibility: Member schools as well as guests are invited to attend the 2008 MACRA Regatta. The Ohio University Crew Team will host the event this year at Strouds Run State Park in Athens, Ohio. Heats will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. with finals starting at 1:00 p.m. MACRA Membership: Petitions for membership should be forwarded and in the hands of the MACRA Organizing Committee two weeks prior to the regatta. To become a member school you must participate in the MACRA for 2 straight years and petition the membership for inclusion. To be considered for membership you must row in the varsity eight event and emphasize eight-oared crews. Member Schools: Duquesne University Marietta College Mercyhurst College North Park Ohio University Grand Valley State University Northwestern University John Carroll University of Cincinnati Ohio State University (men) Michigan State University Cleveland State University Entries: Entry Fees are $10.00 per person-member schools and $12.00 per person for non-member schools. There is a cap on entry fees of $300.00 for member schools. There is no cap on non-member schools. There is a 2-event limit per athlete, excluding coxswains. A $30/School MACRA Due is also due. This can be make payable to MACRA and turned in the morning of the regatta. Email entries to macra1@hotmail.com The entry deadline is Monday, April 21, 2008. Entry Fees, MACRA Dues, and Waivers are due the morning of the regatta (May 3rd) prior to the coaches/coxwains meeting. Make checks for entry fees payable to: MACRA.
