Hudson Health Center recently announced that Ohio University received 1000 doses of influenza vaccine. It will be administered without charge to employees of Ohio University. The vaccine is available on a first-come first-served basis.
PLACE: The first floor of Hudson Health Center
TIME: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on days the university is open.
PLEASE NOTE: Although November is the optimal time for vaccinating university personnel, it is not too late for vaccination to be beneficial. It takes between two and four weeks to develop protective antibodies. There has been only sporadic influenza activity reported in Ohio thus far.
