Performance Management for Supervisors A practical, hands-on session for supervisors which covers how to use Ohio University performance management framework effectively in your local setting. The specific procedural requirements of the classified and administrative systems are discussed with emphasis on the basic components of performance management in general.We will present the Ohio University performance cycle with emphasis on: planning and goal setting, the ongoing performance conversation, mid-year and end-of-year review conversations, performance rating schemes, compensation and rewards strategies as well as the materials and policies that define and support the process. This class will also include the classified employee performance management process when there are enrolled participants who need this specific information.

Designed for any employee (classified, administrator or faculty) who is, or is likely to be, functioning in a supervisor role. Provides a supervisory toolkit, the foundational tools, skills and resources any supervisor would need in order to be effective along with hands-on skills and practice.
